Three Students Win Awards in Vote! 2008 Poster Contest

Corey Schamble, a senior, won first place in the Vote! 2008 Poster Contest

  Poster by Patrick Prekel, a senior, placed second

Corey Schamble, a senior from Wanaque majoring in graphic design, has been named the first place winner in the Vote! 2008 Poster Contest sponsored by the campus chapter of the American Democracy Project in collaboration with the Art Department and the Ben Shahn Galleries.  Schamble’s winning poster will be reproduced for distribution on campus in the fall. Patrick Prekel, a senior majoring in fine arts, placed second.

Jessica Burrows, a junior majoring in art, placed third.   Thirty-seven students submitted entries, which were judged by Jennifer Bauer, executive vice president of the Student Government Association (SGA); Travis Robinson, treasurer of the SGA; and Erica Sagaille, SGA representative from the College of the Arts and Communication.
