WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS

William Paterson University will hold an open house to provide information about its wide range of summer camps, institutes and workshops on Sunday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in its building at 1600 Valley Road in Wayne.

The University will offer a variety of academic, enrichment and fun experiences for students from age 11 through high school and college this summer. Scheduled for various dates in July, several of the institutes and workshops include an option to earn college credit and many permit students to choose the option of living on campus or commuting.

Faculty coordinators will be on hand during the open house to answer questions related to the programs.  The open house will also include free arts and crafts activities for children; light refreshments will be provided.

Programs to be offered this summer for high school and college students are: 13th Annual Summer Jazz Improvisation Workshop, Summer Writing Institute, Future Nurses Summer Institute; Forensics Summer Institute; Youth Power and Public Leadership Camp; and Wealth and Investing Camp.  Programs for middle school students include: CSI Crime Lab Capers; Advanced Robotics; Electronic Lab Workshop; and Creative Writing and Language Arts Camp.
