University Observes Martin Luther King Day on January 27

William Paterson University will hold its annual celebration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, January 27 with a lecture by Jonathan Sprinkles, a motivational speaker, to be held at 12:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the University Commons. The lecture, “Becoming an Agent of Change,” is open to the public. Admission is free.

Sprinkles is a motivational speaker. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he was selected College Speaker of the Year in 2006 by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities, and is the is the author of several books including “The 5 Minute Motivator.” A former salesperson at Dell, Inc., he was also named district champion by Toastmaster’s International, a non-profit organization which develops public speaking and leadership skills.
