A big, green bus devoted to spreading free information about money and finances visited the University on October 20 as part of a yearlong national tour. The tour was open to both students and members of the community.
“The bus tour promotes financial literacy, and the need to save for retirement,” says Luke Dean, academic coordinator, Financial Planning Program, at the University. “As the bus tours the country, professionals give free financial advice to local residents and present symposiums focused on retirement.”
William Paterson was the only university in New Jersey included on the bus tour and the first university stop on the tour. The tour is sponsored by The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Kiplinger, and TD Ameritrade. |
