Conference Offering Strategies for Success for African American and Latino Men to be Held at William Paterson University

A conference designed to help young men of color master advancing technologies, develop stronger communication skills, seek out alternative opportunities and cultivate resources, will be held on Saturday, April 1 at William Paterson University in Wayne.

"The Fourth Annual Academic and Leadership Development Conference for African American and Latino Men" will be held in the Machuga Student Center Ballroom from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission ranges from $10 to $15 and includes all sessions, meals and materials.

Participants will be able to garner information that will enhance their achievements through workshops and other sessions in support of the conference theme that deal with economic, academic, political, social and professional issues.

The conference is sponsored by William Paterson's Educational Opportunity Fund Program; Alumni Association; Office of Employment Equity and Diversity; Office of Minority Education; ALDC Committee; and the State of New Jersey Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission.
