ERVOLINO BRINGS HUMOR TO WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY'S HOMECOMING

 

Bill Ervolino, humor columnist for The Record, will headline William Paterson University's Homecoming events on Saturday, October 16 on the campus in Wayne.

The Spotlight Theater Comedy Hour will feature Ervolino, the author of "Some Kind of Wiseguy: Stories About Parents, Weddings, Modern Living and Growing Up Italian," who will cap the day's events during two comedy performances, scheduled for 8 and 10 p.m. in the Student Center's Starbuck's Café. Tickets cost $10, and the public is invited to attend.

Other homecoming events include a parade a 1 p.m. in Parking Lot 7, and at the same time, in keeping with this year's theme, Mardi Gras, a Cajun Cookout. The Pioneer Football Team will meet their traditional homecoming opponents, the Montclair State University Red Hawks, at 2 p.m. on Wightman Field. The Alumni Classic 5K Run will take place during half time on Wightman Field and an after-game party will be held at 4 p.m. The Talerico Poetry Reading will be held at 5 p.m. in Starbuck's Café.
