WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO PRESENT THE CLASSIC GREEK COMEDY "LYSISTRATA" BY ARISTOPHANES "Lysistrata," the comic masterpiece by Aristophanes, will be staged at William Paterson University in Wayne on November 16, 17, 18 and 20 at 8 p.m., November 19 at 3 p.m., and November 20 and 21 at 10 a.m. in Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Tickets are $10 standard, $7 for the William
Paterson community and senior citizens, $6 for students, and
$5 for high school groups. Ed Mathews, head of William Paterson's
Performing Arts Resource Management Unit, directs the production
which features a cast of student actors. Featured in the cast are William Paterson students Goldie Avalos of Redlands, CA; Rashad Davis of Bridgeton; Louis Durante of Mahwah; Raechel Heffers of Barnegat; Jaclyn Hunt of Kenilworth; Jennifer Keeler of Wildwood Crest; Edward Kotwica of Garfield; Sandra Leach of Absecon; Malika Oyetimein of Somerdale; EdraBeth Pantazes of Northfield; and Eric Patterson of Newark. Matthews is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and holds a master's degree from Idaho State University and a master of fine arts degree in directing/acting from Sarah Lawrence College. He has more than 15 years of experience as a professional lighting designer for metropolitan area theatre productions. William Paterson University, one of the
