STUDENT PRINTMAKING FEATURED AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY The fourth Student Print Exhibition can be viewed at William Paterson University in Wayne through April 13. The show, in the Power Art Center Gallery, features color etching, image on film etching, lithography, silkscreen, monoprint, monotype and solar plate etching. Professor Zhiyuan Cong, a printmaker and William Paterson assistant professor of art, juried his students and curated the show. Works of 23 students are presented in William Paterson University's newest gallery space. "This show is important because it shows the wide range of work that can be produced in our studios. Our printmaking facilities offer opportunities to explore five mediums," Cong says. "Printmaking students are encouraged to explore all areas of their art study, from abstract realism to classical and from FarEastern art to Western art, and to use this background to stir their imagination." A reception, free and open to the public,
to celebrate this event will take place at the Power Art Center
Gallery on Thursday, April 12 from 4 to 5:00 p.m. The Gallery
is located on the William Paterson University campus at 25 Power
Avenue in Wayne. For directions or further information, please
