WILLIAM
PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO PRESENT "THE ADVENTURES OF PERSEUS,"
A PUPPET SHOW FOR CHILDREN
"The
Adventures of Perseus," a childrens theatre show which
incorporates fantastical puppets, will be staged on Saturday, March
9 at William Paterson University in Wayne.
Presented by the McCarter Theatre, the show will be held at 2 p.m.
in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Tickets are $5 for
adults 18 and older; children are free. Geared toward children ages
5 and older, the show is presented as part of AT&T Family Week
at the Theatre.
"The Adventures of Perseus" follows the son of Zeus on a
thrilling adventure through Greek mythology. The performance also
includes a demonstration of all the forms of puppetry used, including
hand puppets, rod puppets, shadow puppets and marionettes.
