WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO HOST ANNUAL REUNION WEEKEND FOR ALUMNI

The William Paterson University Alumni Association will host Reunion Weekend 2002, a three-day event designed to reacquaint the institution’s alumni with the University, from June 7-9, 2002.

Alumni whose class years end in 2 or 7 are invited to attend. All participants have the option of staying overnight in White Hall, a University residence facility. Friday’s events include receptions for members of the Alumni Association’s Latino Chapter and African, African American and Caribbean Chapter, a reception for alumni who lived in the University’s residence halls from 1969 to 1975, and an Alumni Pub Night.

Saturday’s events include an early-morning nature hike to scenic Buttermilk Falls on campus, a welcome address by University President Arnold Speert, a picnic on the lawn in front of the Machuga Student Center, an opportunity for alumni to meet the deans of the University’s five colleges, campus tours, a reception for alumni who participated in the University’s Study Abroad program, and a reunion dinner dance. The weekend concludes on Sunday with a farewell breakfast and an ecumenical service at the Catholic Campus Ministry Center on Pompton Road.
