WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY PRESENTS A COMPUTER-ANIMATED PRODUCTION
OF "A CHRISTMAS CAROL"
Charles Dickens’s nineteenth century holiday classic, "A
Christmas Carol," will be presented in a special computer-animated
production at William Paterson University’s Shea Center for
Performing Arts on December 14 at 3 p.m.
This classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge will feature three live actors,
who will be accompanied onstage by digital performers through the
use of computer animation and light projections. The illusion brings
the story to life, drawing the audience into the play.
A free post-performance lecture/demonstration will immediately follow
the event. This unique visual production is supported in part by a
grant from Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, developed and funded
by the Vira I. Heinz Endowment; the William Penn Foundation; the Pennsylvania
Council on the Arts; and The Pew Charitable Trusts. It is administered
by Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation.
Admission is $15 standard; $13 senior citizens and William Paterson
community, $8 for children 17 and under and William Paterson students,
limit two per ID. This event is not recommended for children under
five years of age.
