JACKSON NAMED TRUSTEE AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY

Michael L. Jackson, president and chief executive officer of Info-Tec Systems, Inc., a computer technology firm with emphasis on supplying computer technology services, has been appointed by Gov. James McGreevey to the Board of Trustees of William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.

“Michael Jackson’s expertise in business and technology will help him play an important role on the William Paterson University Board of Trustees,” said Arnold Speert, president of the University. “I look forward to his contributions and I welcome his input and guidance.”

Mr. Jackson founded Info-Tec in 1989. The company, headquartered in Newark, with offices in Princeton and Philadelphia, offers services such as network engineering, application development, document imaging, system project management and technical outsource management. Previously, he served as a systems programmer for Orenteich Medical Laboratory and as data center manager for Zeller & Letica Advertising. Prior, Mr. Jackson was technical support director for Mutual of New York (MONY) Financial Services.

A graduate of St. John’s University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science, Mr. Jackson has pursued graduate studies in business administration at St. John’s. He has completed extensive executive training at New York University and holds technical certifications in network data communication, application development and project management.

Mr. Jackson and his wife, Laura, have two daughters. They reside in Randolph, New Jersey.
