Stand-up Comedy Workshop to be Held at William Paterson University
William Paterson University is offering a stand-up comedy workshop
for people 14 years of age and up who wish to study, write and perform
stand-up comedy. The class begins on November 20 with additional
sessions on December 4, 11, 18, and January 8 and a final performance
on January 15. Classes are held from 1 to 5 p.m. on the campus in

The program is taught by Clayton Fletcher, a member of the American
Comedy Institute of New York City, who will teach students how to
find their comedic voice, assist them in the development of their
stand-up material and present them with an opportunity to perform
before a live audience. Fletcher regularly performs at comedy clubs
including Caroline’s, the Village Lantern and Stand Up New
York.
The workshop, which is open to the public, can be taken for class
credit. Class size is limited. Registration fee is $399. For more
