Hobart Manor Recital Series Opens 2004-2005 Season on October 3

The Hobart Manor Recital Series opens the 2004-2005 season with vocalist Chris Trakis and pianist Elizabeth DiFelice on Sunday, October 3 at 5 p.m. in historic Hobart Manor located on the campus of William Paterson University in Wayne. Dinner, included in the $25 tickets, begins at 6 p.m.

Trakis and DiFelice will perform Mahler’s “Das Knaben Wunderhorn,” Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons” for solo piano and selections from the opera “Eugene Onegin.”

Di Felice has performed throughout North America, Europe and Japan in solo recitals and as a chamber musician. She has performed with groups including the New York Philharmonic, American Composers Orchestra and American Symphony Orchestra. She is currently the coordinator of the piano department at Princeton University.

The Hobart Manor Recital Series is underwritten, in part, by William Paterson University. It is also funded, in part, by the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council at Passaic County Community College through the State/County Block Grant Program of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
