JIM GEOGHAN’S COMEDY, “ONLY
KIDDING,” ON STAGE AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY FEBRUARY 27
TO MARCH 7
“Only Kidding,” Jim Geoghan’s Off-Broadway comedy
hit, will be presented at William Paterson University’s Hunziker
Black Box Theatre in Wayne from February 27 to March 7. Edward Matthews,
head of William Paterson’s theatre series, will direct.
“Only Kidding” concerns an over-the-hill comic who is
awaiting his last chance at the big time, and an aspiring comedian
who gets involved with a Mafia-connected club owner. The men are at
different stages in their careers, but are competing for a chance
to appear on a late-night television program.
The cast is comprised of William Paterson University students and
alumni. Students include Jonathon Angelico of Hamilton Square as “Tom
Kelly,” Greg Chornomaz of Branchburg as “Sal D’Angelo,”
Kevin Snyder of Passaic as “Sheldon Kelinski,” and Rob
Traegler of Hamilton Square as “Jerry Goldstein.” Ron
Mulligan of Bloomfield, an alumnus, will play “Jackie Dwayne.”
Show times for “Only Kidding” are 8 p.m., February 27,
March 4 and 6; 2 p.m. on February 28 and March 7; and 6 p.m. on February
29. Tickets are $10 standard, $7 for students, the William Paterson
