Golden Dragon Acrobats to Perform at William
Paterson University

The Golden Dragon Acrobats, an award-winning,
renowned Chinese acrobatic troupe, known for their physical grace
and spectacular costumes, will perform at the Shea Center for Performing
Arts at 7 p.m. on March 12 at William Paterson University in Wayne.
The performance, directed by Danny Chang, will include a compilation
of acrobatic feats, traditional dance, and a combination of ancient
and contemporary theatrical techniques. The troupe, comprised of
actors, athletes and artists, has traveled throughout the United
States and to more than 65 countries spanning five continents, including
performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Germany’s
Elspe Festival. The group has received numerous awards including
seven National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) Entertainer
of the Year Awards.
Tickets are $26 standard, $24 for senior citizens, William Paterson
faculty and staff, $15 for children aged 13-17 and $8 for William
Paterson students.
