Vance Gilbert, a renowned guitarist and songwriter, Ellis Paul,
a mainstream folk songwriter and Jill Sobule, a famed singer and
songwriter, will present an evening of contemporary acoustic music
at William Paterson University’s Shea Center for Performing
Arts in Wayne on April 16 at 8 p.m.
Gilbert, originally from Willingboro, New Jersey, began playing

He started performing in cocktail lounges and began teaching in
the Boston-area public schools. Gilbert has released three albums

Spain. Her 1995 hit single, I Kissed a Girl, gained her
immediate popularity and her song Supermodel was featured
in the comedy hit, film Clueless. Sobule has performed
in off-Broadway musicals, made an appearance on the T.V. show The
West Wing and composed songs for the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous.
