William Paterson University Introduces New Roundtable for CEOs
The CEO Roundtable, a program designed for executives, entrepreneurs and business leaders from the profit and non-profit sectors, will hold the first monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 8 to 10:30 am. The Center for Continuing and Professional Education at William Paterson University will host the first Roundtable in its conference room at 1600 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ.
The CEO Roundtable is a business development support group limited to 12 business owners, company presidents or senior executives, and entrepreneurs who meet with a facilitator in a relaxed and confidential manner to discuss pressing problems, brainstorm and unravel critical issues. The roundtable groups also enable members to establish new business contacts in non-competing businesses. Each CEO Roundtable group will establish its own set of topics to focus on throughout the year, so that the group will meet the needs of its individual members.
Facilitators Ilene Greene and Ted Polmar are owner and vice president respectively, of MarketShare Communications, Inc., a full-service marketing and advertising company founded in 1986. Greene is the past president of the New Jersey Advertising Club, and a member of the executive board of both the Paterson Diocesan Federation of Home and School Associations and New York Metro Chapter of ISES. Polmar, a trained leadership facilitator with extensive experience conducting CEO roundtables, is also the founder of Bizcircles, LLC, an online business network that connects members of the business community.
Participation is by membership only. The group will meet once a month from October to July 2007 on the last Friday of each month. To register, please call the Center for Continuing and Professional Education at 973-720-2354 or visit the Web site at www.wpunj.edu/cpe <http://www.wpunj.edu/cpe> .
