MOZART’S CORONATION MASS TO BE PERFORMED AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY ON DECEMBER 5
The William Paterson University Choir and the William Paterson University Chamber Singers will present a winter concert on Tuesday, December 5 at 8 p.m. in Shea Center for Performing Arts on Tuesday, December 5 at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the campus in Wayne. Admission is free.
The William Paterson University Choir will present Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C Major. Stephen Bryant, professor of music and director of choral activities at William Paterson, will conduct. Soloists include students Ashley Benson of Ringwood, soprano; Christina Fiorletta of Rockaway, alto; Daniel Foran of Vernon, tenor; and Thomas Mackwell of Hawley, Pa., bass.
The William Paterson University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Frederick Irwin, will present Jan Pitersoon Sweelinck’s “Hodie Christus Natus est,” as well as winter madrigals and works by Baldwin, Schutz, and Walton.
