WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY OFFERS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS A TASTE OF COLLEGE LIFE
--Day-long program includes an organizational skills workshop and social events
High school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are interested in experiencing a day on a college campus—and learning how to balance academic, social and career goals—are invited to participate in special day-long programs at William Paterson University in Wayne on Saturday, October 13 and Thursday, November 8.
“A Taste of College Life,” presented by William Paterson’s Center for Continuing and Professional Education in partnership with Wayne Public Schools Community Programs, includes a personal organizational skills workshop designed to teach students independent decision-making, time management and scheduling techniques which are essential to success as a college student.
Each session runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On October 13, students will participate in William Paterson’s Homecoming festivities, including the football game. The November 8 program includes the opportunity to attend one of the University’s classes, as well as a performance by William Paterson music students. Cost of each program is $105 and includes breakfast and lunch.
