Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, known for being part of the rap group Run-DMC, will host Spoken Word Speaks!, the second in a series of open mic evenings of spoken word poetry, at William Paterson University in Wayne on Thursday, February 15, 2007.  The event will begin at 8 p.m. in Shea Center.  Admission is $5 and includes a raffle for an Apple iPod.
