William Paterson University to Present Stone Soup and Other Stories
An international collection of folk tales is the nucleus of Stone Soup and Other Stories, a play which contains classic stories from Africa, India, Eastern Europe, and the United States. The program will be staged on March 3 at 2 p.m. in Shea Center for Performing Arts at William Paterson University in Wayne.
Not just for children, this collection of stories is brought to life through humor and fantasy by the Pushcart Players in support of the literacy movement which encourages children to enjoy reading.
The program is part of the University’s Vista Series. Funding for the Vistas Series at William Paterson University has been made possible, in part, by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State.
The play is part of Family Week at the Theater. Tickets are $6 for adults, and free to those 21 years of age and younger. For directions or to purchase tickets, please call the Shea Center Box Office at 973.720.2371.
