“THE MACHINE” PERFORMS THE MUSIC OF PINK FLOYD IN LIVE SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY
The band, “The Machine,” will bring their live Pink Floyd music experience to Shea Center for Performing Arts at William Paterson University in Wayne on April 20 at 8 p.m.
The New York-based band performs a multidimensional show comprised of a cross-section of Pink Floyd’s 16-album repertoire amassed during 30 years as pioneers of experimental rock. The concert is presented with high-tech lighting, sound and video accompaniment to create a faithful interpretation of a classic Pink Floyd concert. “The Machine” has a live CD and concert DVD and has added Europe to their tours.
The event is part of William Paterson’s University Performing Arts’ Vistas Series, designed to serve the University’s students and faculty, as well as the surrounding multicultural community. Funding for the Vistas Series at William Paterson University has been made possible, in part, by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State.
Tickets to the show are $35 for Gold Circle seating; $25 standard; $20 loge; $15 obstructed view. For ticket information, call the Shea Center Box Office at 973-720-2371.
