WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY PROVIDES VARIETY OF SUMMER STUDY OPTIONS

William Paterson University will offer a variety of options for undergraduate and graduate students wishing to pursue their studies during the summer of 2007.

More than 700 courses in every discipline will be available during the summer session, which begins May 21 and runs through August 14.  For the first time, students can choose from courses offered for three, four or six weeks, and can earn up to 12 credits.  Courses will be available during the day and evening, as well as online.

“Our goal is to provide William Paterson students, visiting students from other colleges and universities, and high-achieving high school students with as much flexibility in possible in terms of scheduling and variety of course offerings,” says Stephen Hahn, associate provost.  “Students can complete degree requirements, or take prerequisites for other courses.”

On-campus housing in the University’s air-conditioned residence halls is available for summer session students.  Students can also take advantage of recreational facilities on campus, including an indoor competition-sized pool and a multipurpose Rec Center with fully equipped weight and fitness rooms.  Parking on campus is free.

A list of course offerings is available on the William Paterson Web site at www.wpunj.edu/summersession.  Tuition and fees are $303 per credit for undergraduate students who are New Jersey residents, and $497 per credit for out-of-state undergraduate students.  Tuition and fees are $514 per credit for graduate students who are New Jersey residents and $799 per credit for out-of-state graduate students.
