WOMEN’S CONCERNS EXPLORED IN PLAY “TALKING WITH” AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY FROM MARCH 25 TO 30
The William Paterson University Theatre Series presents “Talking With,” a play of 11 monologues, at the Hunziker Black Box Theater on campus from March 25 to 30.
“Talking With,” by playwright Jane Martin, consists of monologues by women who explore different ways of dealing with conflict. Each of the characters explores universal issues, such as loneliness, loss of hope, and struggles with faith.
The theatre production is comprised of William Paterson University students, alumni, faculty, and community players. Students in the ensemble are: Dana Cipoletto of Montclair; Wanda DeCastro of Paterson; Amanda Muench of Fords; and Michelly Rodriguez of Clifton. Other cast members include Amanda Telemaque of Dover, a 2005 graduate of William Paterson; Joan Ludwig of Kinnelon, an adjunct professor of communication at William Paterson; and Diana Peck of Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., a William Paterson professor of communication.
Jerry Beal, William Paterson assistant professor of communication, directs. William Paterson adjunct faculty member Evan Lewis serves as scenic designer.
