WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO PRESENT LECTURE ON STRESS AND ANXIETY A program on how to identify
and cope with stress in light of the terrorist attacks of September 11
will be held on Wednesday, December 5 at William Paterson University in
Wayne. The lecture, "Stress and
Anxiety Reactions Arising from Global Crises," will be presented
by Dr. Isora Bosch, senior management consultant for the New York City
Health and Hospitals Corporation, and Dr. Emile Gurstelle, an assistant
professor of psychology at the University. The program, sponsored by the
Universitys M.A. in Applied Clinical Psychology Program, will be
held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Machuga Student Center, rooms 324-5.

commissioner of the New York City Department of Mental Health on the service
needs of victims of the tragedy in New York City. She is currently a partner
in a consulting organization that delivers training programs in stress
management, cultural diversity, and communication skills. In her role
as senior management consultant for the New York City Health and Hospitals
Corporation, she is responsible for the design and delivery of educational
and training programs for health care professionals. Bosch has coordinated
stress management programs for HIV/AIDS services providers. In addition,
Bosch is a psychotherapist in private practice. Gurstelle, who specializes
in anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders, has been in private practice
for more than 25 years. He is a consultant for Crisis Management International,
Inc., which conducts critical incident stress debriefing as well as stress
management and communications training
