WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY NURSING ALUMNI TO HOLD WALK-A-THON FOR YVONNE PARISEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP The William Paterson University Nursing Alumni Chapter will hold its second annual Walk-A-Thon on Sunday, June 3, 2001 to raise funds for the Yvonne E. Parisen Memorial Scholarship. The event will begin at 10 a.m. at Hobart Manor on the University's campus in Wayne and is part of William Paterson's Reunion Weekend 2001 activities. Parisen, who earned a master's degree in nursing from William Paterson in 1999, was a professional home care nurse, a wife, and the mother of three young children. Parisen, who was a resident of Bloomingdale, died shortly after her 1999 graduation. Funds raised by the Walk-A-Thon will support a scholarship in Parisen's name for students enrolled in William Paterson's Graduate Nursing Program. The donation is $25 per person or $30 per family, which includes t-shirts and prizes as well as a continental breakfast following the walk. For further information, please call Sheri
