SINGERS INVITED TO JOIN SUMMER CHOIR AT WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY

Experienced singers are invited to join the William Paterson University Summer Choir, which will present a free concert at the University in Wayne on Sunday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Shea Center.
The choir, directed by Dr. Maredia Warren, assistant professor of music at William Paterson, is open to anyone, high school age or older, who has sung in a high school, college, church or community choir. Experienced singers may join on or before July 5.

Rehearsals will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., on July 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26, in room 101 of Shea Center on campus. A dress rehearsal will be held on July 30, the day of the performance, at 3 p.m. in Shea Center. The musical program will feature outstanding "Gloria" choruses from major choral works. Other repertoire will include a medley of Duke Ellington songs, tunes from Broadway, and African-American spirituals.
