WPUNJ Associates Degree Contract Submission Form

This secure form allows accepted WPUNJ students to submit their contract agreeing to the Transfer Agreement for Students with A.A., A.S. and A.F.A. degrees from a Community College.

 

Please read the following information carefully and fill out the contract accordingly:

 

To verify important information and confirm your understanding of the Transfer Agreement, William Paterson University asks that you review the information on this contract, sign it, and return to the Undergraduate Office of Admissions within two weeks of the date posted on your acceptance letter. Failure to acknowledge this contract will result in an inaccurate evaluation of credits and may jeopardize your participation in this Agreement.

 

General Principle: Transfer students who completed (after January 1, 2005) or are in their final semester of completing the requirements for an A.A., A.S. or A.F. A degree from a Community College will be considered to have completed all lower division General Education requirements and have Junior status at William Paterson University (with exception of courses that may be required for the major).

 

An official transfer credit evaluation will be completed by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions based upon the major indicated on your application. The contract is only binding based on the major indicated on your application.

 

Final official transcripts of course work currently in progress at the two-year institution and/or course work to be completed before your term of enrollment at William Paterson University, must be submitted to the Office of Admissions for a final transfer credit evaluation prior to the last date of the add/drop period. Course work taken after your initial enrollment will not be approved for transfer credit.

You must contact the Office of Admissions to confirm our receipt of all final official transcripts indicating an A.A., A.S. or A.F.A. degree with the degree date posted on the transcript. Failure to submit this information will result in a hold being placed on your account for future registration.

 

William Paterson University reserves the right to reverse any admissions acceptance in cases where the student has produced false documents or has failed to produce documents indicating the issuance of an Associate's Degree.
