University Honors College Freshman Application Final Checklist
Thank you for planning to apply to the University Honors College at William Paterson University!
Please check that you have reviewed the following items before proceeding:
Average Honors students have a 3.83 high school GPA (middle 50% range of 3.58 to 4.04) and 1250 SAT (middle 50% range of 1190 to 1290) or 27 composite ACT (middle 50% range of 26 to 28). They have also taken honors, Advanced Placement, or International Baccalaureate classes in high school and are engaged learners.
You must complete the Application for Undergraduate Admission as well as this Honors application to be considered for admission to the University Honors College.
The Honors and Admissions applications do not have to be submitted together.
As part of this application, you are required to submit a one-page essay explaining why you wish to join the University Honors College at William Paterson University. The essay should be pasted in the appropriate space on the application.
An e-mail address is required, as future communication about your Honors application will be via e-mail. If you do not have one, they are available for free from several vendors, including Google, Hotmail, Yahoo and many others.
